The Lafayette Police Department is searching the area along the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard this afternoon for a subject who reportedly fled the scene of an accident.
The subject is described as a Black or Hispanic male, and the accident occurred at approximately 3 p.m., police said.
If you see anyone acting suspicious in this area, police ask you to call 911.
