Police Action In Lafayette: Deer Hill and Laurel Drive
Details are sketchy but Lafayette residents inform us of an ongoing police action in the vicinity of Deer Hill and Laurel Drive -- possibly related to a burglary attempt in the area.
Lafayette police are circulating in the area of Deer Hill and Laurel Drive near the BART station after a resident in the area reported an attempted burglary of their residence.
If reports prove true, this would be the second day in a row that thieves were thwarted during an attempted burglary in the area. Three men were chased away from homes on Sierra Vista Way Tuesday after neighbors confronted them at about 9:30 a.m.
