Orinda Police Log: Injury Accidents, Home Burglary, Juvenile Disturbances

Some of the incidents that kept Orinda police officers busy this past week

Some of the items on the Orinda Police Department log from Jan.  7 to Jan. 11.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

Injury accident: Police were informed at 4:24 p.m. about an injury accident at Rheem Boulevard and Calvin Drive.

Another accident: Officers were informed at 5:46 p.m. about another injury accident at Camino Pablo and Camino Sobrante.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

Credit card fraud: Police were notified at 8:26 a.m. about a fraudulent credit card being used in the 500 block of Moraga Way.

Reckless driving: Officers were notified at 6:35 p.m. about a reckless driver at Camino Pablo and Miner Road. Police were unable to locate the driver.

Thursday, Jan. 9

Identity theft: Police were informed at 10:00 a.m. about an identity theft that occurred in the 100 block of La Espiral.

Friday, Jan. 10

Juvenile disturbance: Officers were informed at 8:56 p.m. about a juvenile disturbance that had happened in the 20 block of El Camino Moraga. The youngsters were contacted by officers.

Saturday, Jan. 11

Home burglary: Officers were notified at 1:48 p.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 100 block of Brookside Drive.

Juvenile disturbance: Police were notified at 8:40 p.m. about another juvenile disturbance at Glorietta Elementary School. The youngsters were contacted by police.

Loud party: Officers were informed at 9:09 p.m. about a loud party in the 20 block of Scenic Drive. Those responsible were contacted.
