Orinda Police Log: Home Burglaries, Stolen Car, Petty Theft

Some of the incidents that kept Orinda police busy last week

Some of the items from the Orinda Police Department logs from Dec. 15 to Dec. 21.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Home burglary: Police were notified at 10 a.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 10 block of Nelson Lane.

Stolen car found: Officers found a stolen car at 11:20 a.m. in the 10 block of Virginia Drive.

Monday, Dec. 16

Business burglary: Police were informed at 6:07 a.m. that a commercial burglary had occurred at Wilder Road and Upton Road.

Stolen car: Officers were notified at 11:26 a.m. that a car had been stolen from the 30 block of Muth Drive.

Residential burglary: Officers were informed at 1:52 p.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 60 block of Muth Drive.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

Property damage: Police were notified at 10:53 a.m. that an accident involving property damage had occurred in the 200 block of The Knoll.

Reckless driver: A reckless driver was reported to police at 3:21 p.m. The driver was seen near Moraga Way and Ivy Way.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Suspicious person: A suspicious person was reported to police at 8:09 p.m. in the 400 block of Dalewood Drive.

Thursday, Dec. 19

Suspicious vehicle: Police were notified at 2:13 p.m. about a suspicious car in the 90 block of Diablo View Drive.

Another suspicious car: Officers were informed at 11:33 p.m. of a suspicious vehicle at Wanda Lane and Muth Drive.

Friday, Dec. 20

One more suspicious vehicle: Police were notified at 9:55 a.m. about a suspicious car at Camino Don Miguel and Miner Road.

Saturday, Dec. 21

Vandalism: Officers were informed at 2:41 p.m. that some vandalism had occurred in the 70 block of Mira Monte Road.

Petty theft: Police were notified at 4:30 p.m. that a petty theft had occurred in the 40 block of Brookside Road.
