Orinda Police Activity for the Week of July 15: Burglary House Found

Here's what the Orinda police were doing last week.

A home in Antioch was found to have stolen property from an Orinda home, as well as guns, cash, and methamphetamine. Orinda police found the home through their investigation of a spate of burglaries in town recently. A gun stolen from Oakley, and other items from a burglary in San Ramon were also found.

People in the home were arrested for a DUI, drunk in public, two arrests for possession of narcotics for sale; one for stolen property, weapons, and warrants and an arrest for delaying and obstructing a police officer.

The Investigation Unit also interviewed a subject who is being held at the Santa Clara County Jail for possible involvement with burglaries here in Orinda. The investigation is ongoing.
