Investigators are working to determine the cause of an early-morning collision involving two cars and a motorcyclist on eastbound Highway 24 just east of the Wilder Road exit in Orinda Sunday.
A CHP spokesperson said the crash was reported at 2:30 a.m. and that one person was confirmed dead of injuries suffered during the crash.
Two lanes of eastbound Highway 24 near the scene of the crash remained blocked as of 4 a.m., according to the CHP.
