Moraga Police Say They Have Not Heard From Reported Assault Victim

A report of a young girl being assaulted by an older man on a walkway between Camino Pablo and Kazar Court has so far proven unfounded, police said.

Moraga police Friday said they had not heard from the young girl a passerby reportedly saw being assaulted on a walkway between Camino Pablo and Kazar Court in Moraga.

Lt. Jeff Price said no one has contacted the department with additional information on the sighting, and no one reported being the victim of the assault.

"We were obviously concerned, based on what was reported to us," Price said.
