FYI: Before any speculation start, it was a suicide. He is a dear old friend of ours. Out of respect for his family that he left behind, and don't want to give out any further details. He will be missed.

Suicide. I am sorry and there are a lot of reasons people take their lives. None of them are frivolous. It is just sad.

Patch, are we going to learn a name?

Hi, Myrna. Lamorinda Patch as a rule does not cover a person who chooses to take his or her own life. In this instance many people witnessed the initial emergency response to the call and called us asking what had happened. It appears to have been suicide. That's as far as we feel we need to go.
