Moraga Police Advise of Suspicious Man Near Joaquin Moraga School

Police advise parents with children at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate to be watchful after two recent, similar incidents involving children.

Moraga police issued a warning to parents with children at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School after a suspicious man offered a student a ride today, Wednesday -- two weeks after the same man was spotted trying to get a child in his car in much the same way.

In Wednesday's incident, a male student was hailed by the driver of a brown pickup truck and asked if he needed a ride home. When the student declined the offer the driver left in the direction of Canyon Road, according to police.
