Moraga PD: Cattle Roundup on Moraga Road
Also, a case of mistaken neighbor identity and other questionable events and crimes reported to the Moraga police from April 17 to April 19.
April 17
Residential burglary. A house in the 3900 block of Paseo Grande was entered between 8:50 a.m. and 3 p.m., and jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen. Moraga police officers are investigating.
April 18
Know your neighbors. Reported at 3:35 p.m., a Corte Del Campo resident complained about a suspicious man sitting in a truck parked in the cul-de-sac. Officers contacted the man in the truck, who was sitting in the truck while using a cellphone due to poor reception at his house.
Trying the front door? Reported at 9:06 p.m., police received two reports of someone trying to open a front door on Corte Del Sol. Officers could not find anyone suspicious in the area and advised residents of extra patrols in the neighborhood.
April 19
Soliciting without a permit. Responding to a report at 6:04 p.m., officers went to the 200 block of Calle La Montana and cited a man soliciting for a tree service without a town permit.
Roundup on Moraga Road. Responding to a report at 6:50 p.m., officers were able to direct two cows back into a secured pasture on Moraga Road between Sky Hy Road and Campolindo Drive.
