Moraga Home Invader May Have Broken Into Lafayette Home

A burglary suspect has apparently evaded police twice in one day, and is still on the loose.

A man who police said entered an occupied home in Moraga Tuesday morning trying to flee police there may have also tried to hide Tuesday afternoon in a Lafayette home.

According to Lafayette police, a man fitting the description of the Moraga suspect was seen going into the backyard of a home on the 800 block of Solana Dr. It is not known if the residents were home at the time.

Police searched the home with a K-9 unit to no avail. Police say they are treating this case as a residential burglary.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5' 8", 180 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and tan colored pants. Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department at (925) 283-3680.
