Missing Orinda Man Returns Home
Raymond Chen disappeared after leaving a medical facility in late September
An Orinda man has returned home after disappearing more than two months ago.
The family of Raymond Chen released a statement Sunday morning saying the 24-year-old man is now safe at home with his mother in Orinda.
The statement said he plans to "heal" and then finish his education.
The statement added Chen went missing after living with his adoptive father and some of the father's friends in San Francisco.
The family did not want to comment on where Chen had been since his disappearance or what prompted him to return home.
The family thanked law enforcement, the media and their friends for helping bring Chen back home.
Chen, a 2007 Miramonte High School graduate, was reported missing in late September after being released from a hospital against medical advice.
