Larch Avenue Burglary Moraga's Only Residential Burglary So Far In 2012

The burglary of a Larch Avenue home is the first and only residential burglary in Moraga so far this year.

Moraga police are investigating the town's only residential burglary so far this year, a break-in at a Larch Avenue home on January 30.

The homeowner reported that someone smashed the sliding glass door to the  master bedroom of their home in the 1200 block of Larch sometime between 9:20 a.m. and 1:55 p.m. on that day, making off with a diamond ring valued at $1,500.

Police Chief Bob Priebe said his officers were able to recover fingerprints at the scene but have no suspects at this time.
