Lafayette Police Log: Home Burglaries, Grand Theft, Christmas Dispute

Some of the incidents that kept Lafayette police officers busy this past week

Here are some of the items listed on the Lafayette Police Department logs from Dec. 22 to Dec. 27.

Sunday, Dec. 22

Loud party: At 12:09 a.m., police were dispatched to Laurel Lane for reports of a loud party. Officers talked to the residents of the home.

Home burglary: Police were notified at 11:16 p.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 1100 block of Camino Vallecito. 

Monday, Dec. 23

Petty theft: At 10:17 a.m., police were informed that a petty theft had occurred in the 1000 block of Oak Hill Road.

Grand theft: Officers were notified at 1:37 p.m. that a grand theft had occurred at Wells Fargo Bank.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

Burglary: Police were notified at 9:46 a.m. that a burglary had occurred in the 1200 block of Pleasant Hill Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

Christmas disputes: Officers were dispatched at 10:15 a.m. for a verbal dispute on Christmas morning in the 10 block of Southampton Place. Officers returned to that same block at 8:42 p.m. for another verbal dispute.

Thursday, Dec. 26

Reckless driver: At 12:06 p.m., a reckless driver was reported at Burton Drive and Glenside Drive.

Friday, Dec. 27

Home burglary: Police were notified at 12:28 p.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 600 block of Glenside Drive.

Another dispute: Officers were dispatched at 7:13 p.m. for a verbal dispute happening in the 3200 block of Quandt Road.
