Lafayette Police Investigating Residential Breakins
Police looking into a recent spate of residential burglaries in Lafayette.
Lafayette police are investigating a recent series of residential robberies along St. Mary's Road and Reliez Station Road, two of which were reported the same day.
The small "cluster" of residential robberies were reported on Aug. 13-14, according to police records, with one reported in the first block of Roxanne Lane and another in the 900 block of Carol Lane on Aug. 13.
Another home was robbed the next day in the 3300 block of St. Mary's Road. Police would not comment specifically on the burglaries or if it is believed the crimes were conducted by the same person or persons.
