Lafayette Police Blotter: Assault With A Deadly Weapon, Grand Theft At School, Cannabis Arrest

Some of the incidents that kept Lafayette police officers busy this past week

Some of the items on the Lafayette Police Department log from Dec. 16 to Dec. 20.

Monday, Dec. 16

Home burglary: Police were informed at 9:37 a.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 1100 block of Cambridge Drive.

Vandalism: Officers were notified at 11:26 a.m. that some vandalism had occurred in the 100 block of Lafayette Circle.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

Petty theft: Police were told at 8:47 a.m. that a petty theft had occurred in the 90 block of Carolyn Court.

Another petty theft: At 1:47 p.m., officers were informed of another petty theft in the 1000 block of Windsor Drive.

Store burglarized: At 2:26 p.m., police were notified of a commercial burglary at the Safeway store on Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

Vehicle burglary: Police were informed at 7:19 p.m. that a car had been burglarized in the 300 block of Buckeye Court.

Another auto burglary: Officers were notified at 8:59 p.m. that another car burglary had happened at Acalanes High School.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Assault with a deadly weapon: Police were informed at 6:02 a.m. that an assault with a deadly weapon had occurred in the 1000 block of Miller Drive.

Grand theft at school: Officers were notified at 10:57 a.m. that a grand theft had occurred at Bentley Upper School.

Cannabis arrest: At 4:13 p.m., a suspect was arrested for possession of cannabis in the 3700 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

Auto burglary: Police were told at 8:23 p.m. that an auto burglary had occurred in the 3500 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

Petty theft: At 8:32 p.m., a petty theft was reported in the 3600 block of Walnut Street.

Thursday, Dec. 19

Grand theft: Officers were informed at 12:41 p.m. that a grand theft had occurred in the 3400 block of Golden Gate Way.

Petty theft: Police were notified at 3:41 p.m. that a petty theft had happened in the 3300 block of South Lucille Lane.

Friday, Dec. 20

Home burglary: Officers were told at 11:41 a.m. that a home had been burglarized in the 1000 block of Windsor Drive.

Another home burglary: Police were informed at 8:15 p.m. that another home burglary had occurred, this one in the 400 block of Read Drive.
