The Moraga Police Officers Association in conjunction with Stuffed Animals for Emergencies (SAFE) is gathering new or gently used stuffed animals. They are given to local police and fire agencies to distribute to children they encounter distraught in emergencies or perhaps the loss of a loved one.

There is a dropoff box in the lobby of the Moraga Police Department, 329 Rheem Blvd., Moraga.
