Driving To Or Partying In Walnut Creek Friday? Mind the Checkpoint
Walnut Creek police will be out in force Friday to bag folks filled with a little too much Holiday cheer.
The Walnut Creek police department will be conducting a DUI/Driver's License checkpoint Friday, Dec. 17 from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. in their city in an effort to reduce the number of people killed or injured in alcohol related crashes this Holiday Season.
Traffic volume and weather permitting, all cars will be checked and drivers found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be arrested, police said.
