Did You Buy Disneyland Tickets From This Woman? If So, No Mouse Ears For You

Discounted ducats to the Enchanted Kingdom can seem pretty appealing - unless you bought them from this woman.

Walnut Creek police arrested a Pleasant Hill woman Saturday on suspicion of fraudulently selling Disneyland passes on Craigslist - and say some of her alleged victims may not yet be aware of the con.

Police say Lisa Marie Cassinelli, 51, arranged to meet victims in person and sell them the passes at a discounted rate. She always was accompanied by a girl she said was her daughter, police said.

Victims usually paid several hundred dollars for the passes and only discovered they were fraudulent when they tried to use them at Disneyland.

The Walnut Creek Police Department has three confirmed cases involving Cassinelli. The investigation uncovered two more victims in San Ramon and an additional two victims in Pleasanton.

Officers served an arrest and search warrant Saturday at Cassinelli's home,
where they said they recovered additional Disneyland passes and information
indicating there may be other victims of this scam.

Evidence indicates the victims are from Contra Costa County and the greater Sacramento area.

Cassinelli was booked into Martinez County jail Saturday. Her bail was set at $60,000.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Walnut Creek police Officer Gabe Mauro at (925) 943-5844.
