Car Burglaries, Theft Give Moraga Residents the Jitters

Someone was busy in Moraga last Friday night.

Moraga police issued an advisory to homeowners Thursday after neighbors on Camino Ricardo and one on Ashbrook reported that someone entered their cars last Friday -- making off with anything they could find inside and, in one case, the car itself.

Police reported that several unlocked cars were entered and items taken early Friday morning, most of them in the 700 block of Camino Ricardo. In one instance a Prius left parked with the keys inside was stolen.
