A downed utility pole from a solo-vehicle collision Wednesday night closed Canyon Road in both directions between the bridge and Valle Vista for more than eight hours, according to Moraga police.
The accident was reported at approximately 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, and crews worked overnight to clear and repair the pole that fell across the roadway, police said.
The road reopened at approximately 7 a.m. today, according to police.
No details were released on the accident.
