Friends and Family Mourn Joyce Chesnut
The deceased was a member of the Moraga Hacienda Seniors.
Friends and family of Joyce Chesnut are mourning the Contra Costa County resident who died March 20 at the age of 87.
Joyce moved to Moraga in 1993 after Bill Chesnut, her beloved husband of more than 40 years, died of Multiple Sclerosis. A San Francisco native, Joyce is survived by three daughters and five grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held to celebrate Joyce's life. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association , ARF, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the UC Berkeley Bear Backers, or a charity of your choice .
