An Orinda doctor has been given a distinguished service award from the California Hospital Association.

Dr. Scott Zeller was recognized by the non-profit organization for developing, promoting and leading efforts to understand the effectiveness of a psychiatric emergency services framework known as the "Alameda Model," according to a release by Globe Newswire.

This award could not be given to an individual who is more competent, capable, responsible, dependable, talented, moral, (along with every other good adjective), than this recipient. Kudos to the California Hospital Association for having the good judgment to select Dr. Scott Zeller.
