The organic food movement has whetted the collective appetite for natural, pesticide-free produce, and now it seems to be everywhere — from big-brand grocery stores to local restaurants.
But going back to basics — often for a higher price — is a trend not without irony. "Try organic food," suggests one fake advertisement flying around the Internet, "... or as your grandparents called it, 'Food'."
Patch published an article about where to buy organic food in Lamorinda, and commenter LamorindaMan said simply:
"My wife eats all organic food. She says that's why she can still fit into the same pair of earrings she wore in high school."
Do you think the organic food movement is overrated? Underrated? Have you been able to fit into your high school earrings because of eating organically? Share your thoughts below.
