"The Ladies Have Something To Say" reception

An opening reception will be held Sunday, Sept 11 for the new Contra Costa County Historical Society's exhibit, "The Ladies are Having Their Say" honoring the centennial of women's suffrage in California.  The exhibit, on view until November 23, contains photos, documents, newspapers, replicas of banners and signs carried in suffrage parades, authentic campaign memorabilia and county voting and voter registration records among many other items.  The public is cordially invited to attend.  Admission is free.
