Contra Costa County Historical Society Exhibit honoring the centennial of California extending voting rights to women in Oct 1911 - nine years before the 19th amendment. Pictures, documents, signs and banners, authentic campaign memorablia, and official vote count and 1912 voter registration records loaned by the County Clerk. Other events and programs to mark the centennial will be announced. In addition to the three weekdays, the exhibit will be open on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Nov 23. The public is also invited to attend the opening reception on Sun Sep 11 from 1-4 p.m.
