Lamorinda Democratic Club Meeting

The Lamorinda Democratic Club's monthly meeting on Thursday, October 14, will feature two local political experts, Lisa Tucker and Melody Howe Weintraub, offering their expert analysis about the most important political issues and races facing voters around Contra Costa, California, and the nation.

The club will consider questions like the high stakes in the California Governor and U.S. Senate elections. Can anything be done to increase Democratic enthusiasm and turnout? What about the propositions on climate change, majority vote budget, and the rest? What could the results say about the direction Contra Costa, California, and the nation are heading?

The club's social hour will begin at its regular 6:30 p.m. start time at the Orinda Community Church, 10 Irwin Way, Orinda. We will begin our business meeting at 7:15 p.m. with announcements about upcoming events, special short notices of interest to local Democrats, and presentations by Democrats seeking election to local offices this November. The main program with Tucker and Howe Weintraub will begin at 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.ldclub.org.
