Moraga Book Club

This month we will be discussing Mennonite in a Little Black Dress, in which Rhoda Janzen chronicles her childhood in a deeply religious family, her break from that family when she chooses an academic life and atheist husband, and going home again.  Fortunately for the reader, this moving memoir is also hilarious; Janzen never fails at self-deprecating honesty, while gently poking fun at others as well.
