Open House and Train "Show" @ Walnut Creek Model RR Society

Join us for our open house and train show - Saturday & Sunday, June 19th & 20th

SATURDAY/SUNDAY - June 19 & 20, 2021 - (11:00AM - 6:00PM)
Join us for our "Weekend Open House and Train Show". Kids, bring your favorite dad.

Our permanent H.O. scale layout is one of the most mountainous in the United States, with over 4,400 feet of track covering an area of 2,500 square feet and climbing to an elevation of four feet. Our members operate many unique freight and passenger trains from days past when steam was king.
Visit the towns of "Port Allen", with its busy seaport, naval ships and operating bascule bridge, "Diablo" to view our expansive freight sorting "hump" yard, "Olympia" to view operations of the electric trolley system, and "Thompson Flat" and view the narrow gauge railway as it ascends to the alpine rack railway. We are located in Larkey Park opposite the newly renovated Larkey Pool and within a short walk of the Lindsay Wildlife Experience. We were declared the "Best Man-Cave in the Bay Area" by NBC-11.
