Holiday Musical The North Pole Revue at Lesher Center for the Arts

Holiday Musical The North Pole Revue

Now at Lesher Center for the Arts

Walnut

Creek, C
A—North Pole

Revue, a delightful, long-running holiday classic, will

be presented from Dec. 6-15, 2013 at the Lesher Center for the Arts,

1601 Civic Drive, in Walnut Creek.

Eight

productions will be held on Friday evenings, Dec. 6 and Dec. 13, at

7:15 p.m.; Saturday

afternoons and evenings on Dec. 7 and 14 at 2:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.;

and Sunday afternoons on Dec. 8 and Dec.15 at 2:15 p.m.

The

performances are presented by Center Stage Theater of Diablo Valley,

which features young actors from all over Contra Costa County.

These

holiday performances are appropriate for young and old alike. With

songs by Barrett Lindsay Steiner and a witty script by Doña Foreman,

the North Pole Revue features elves Jack and Dolly as they prepare

for the holiday season. With help from all of Santa’s elves, they

take the audience on a map cap adventure to light the official

holiday tree and kick start the holiday season. Along the way, the

audience will encounter dancing reindeer and trees, and then a final

appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
