High School Visual Arts Competition - Artists & Awards Reception

The Artists & Awards Reception for High School Visual Arts Competition will be held Wednesday March 12, 4 to 6PM. Refreshments and music will be served.

This annual event showcases and acknowledges 2D, 3D, and Photography, with new subcategory Digital Designs, work by high school students who live in or attend school in Orinda, Lafayette or Moraga or Acalanes Union High School District, including Las Lomas High School. The competition features cash awards, merit citations and a month long public exhibit of entries at the Orinda Library Art Gallery.

Mobile phone-based text voting for Best in Show winner of the High School Visual Arts Competition will remain open until March 11, with the winner announced at the VAC reception on March 12. Cast your vote by texting to 22333 the characters HSVAC followed by the artwork ID number affixed to each item (e.g., 3D999).

Artwork can be seen during Orinda Library hours in the Gallery.
