Lamorinda Gets its Wiggles Out at Pajama Jam
Kids of all ages will have the chance to get their winter sillies out at the first annual Moraga Juniors Women’s Club’s Pajama Jam on Saturday, February 23 at the New Rheem Theatre.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. concert by the Juice Box Heroes. Games and activities – including a
photo booth, tattoo art, and face painting – will keep little ones entertained throughout the morning. Breakfast treats provided by Jamba Juice and Krispy Kreme will also be available for purchase.
Children are invited to wear their pajamas to the Pajama Jam, as well as donate new sleepwear in any size to
children in need. Collected pajamas will benefit the The Pajama Program, a 501c3 organization that provides for kids in need, many of whom are waiting and hoping to be adopted.
Admission to the event includes the concert at 10 a.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door, or online at www.moragajuniors.org. Additional game tickets can be purchased at the door. All attendees who donate pajamas will receive five free game tickets.
“We are excited to bring the community together for this great event. The kids can have a great time dancing to The Juice Box Heroes while supporting a very worthy cause,” said Wendy Smith, one of the event’s co-chairs. “We think it will be a perfect way to spend a winter morning.”
The Moraga Junior Women’s Club is a non-profit organization that raises funds and participates in service projects to benefit local schools and parks, the Moraga
Library, and other local charities.
