Julia Morgan School for Girls, an independent school from grades 6 through 8, is dedicated to the intellectual, creative, social, and emotional growth of girls during their critical middle school years. Located on the beautiful Mills College campus in Oakland, California, we support girls in achieving academic excellence, critical thinking skills, positive risk taking, and the development of individual talents. Learning extends beyond the walls of the classroom into the community to foster compassion and social responsibility.

The rigorous, integrated, project-based curriculum includes: science, technology, performing and visual arts, Spanish language instruction, service learning, physical education and sports.

Our experienced teachers inspire the students to be passionate, lifelong learners, while preparing them to be confident, capable, creative, and compassionate women of tomorrow. Julia Morgan School reflects the remarkable ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic and family diversity of the East Bay.
