Fresh from the sold out start to their 2012-13 season, the Gold Coast Chamber Players present music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Gabriel Faure, and Johannes Brahms on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the Community Hall, in the Lafayette Library. Saint Mary’s College professor, Lino Rivera gives a pre-concert talk beginning at 7:00 PM.
Their program titled Masterpiece, showcases music by legendary composers at pivotal points in their lives.

The Gold Coast Chamber Players manage to consistently bridge the gap between audience and performer by providing vibrant programming and energetic performances. Pianist, Yana Reznik, known for her charismatic and insightful performances will make her Gold Coast debut and is sure to delight those lucky enough to snag a seat. Joining her will be clarinetist Tony Striplen, from the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, violinist Mitchell Newman from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, cellist Eric Gaenslen from the Rosetti Quartet and violist Pamela Freund-Striplen. Expect fireworks when these creative musicians come together for the first time!
A reception following the concert will provide an opportunity to meet the musicians. Limited seating, please reserve early.
