Dragons, Gnomes and Fairies...Oh My!

Your garden and your imagination will come alive when Suja Pritchard, local artist and garden member, helps you create a playful space for visiting dragons, gnomes, and fairies!

Using natural and found materials such as twigs, dried moss, leaves, fabric, shells, jar lids for ponds, stones and bark, we'll create tiny houses, chairs, paths and fences in containers.

Bring any materials you want for your little world, as well as a container (15"x 15" or larger) such as a pot, wooden box, plastic tub with holes drilled in bottom, old wheelbarrow or planter. We'll provide soil, 2-3 small plants, construction materials (bring some to share), glue, concrete for paths, instruction and assistance.

Materials fee: $6.00

We'll meet rain or shine at the Lafayette Community Garden on Mt Diablo Blvd, across from the Lafayette Reservoir. A $5 donation per person to support our education programs is appreciated, but not required.
