Don't Let the Challenges of Aging Defeat You or Your Loved One
Families and individuals can be impacted by the emotional and financial diemmas associated with aging. The average age of a caregier who is caring for someone over 50 is 63 years old. The average length of caregiving is 10 years. Those statistics illustrate that it is important to plan for the future now in order to determine the needs of the family and the individual.
Mary Ballin, CFP practitioner, Client Relationship Advisor, Mosaic Financial Partners has been invited by Eldercare Services to participate in their upcoming community event, The Family Circus: Walking the Tightrope of Elder Care and Aging on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 8:30-3:30pm. Mary will be available to answer attendees'questions about the role that a financial advisor plays in helping families ensure that all the pieces of the plan for care are considered and followed through on.
This day of workshops, sponsored in part by Mosaic Financial Partners, will help empower families and baby boomers planning for the future by offering solutions, ideas and knowledge on adapting to the challenges of again. The workshops will cover topics such as the financial tools and government programs that can help pay for long term care and stress free caregiving.
According to Mary Ballin, "The advice I give people can make a huge positive impact on their lives. Most of us have a vision of what we want our future to look like for ourselves and our family. We work hard in hopes of being able to reap the benefits of the hard labor. I take great pride in being part of helping that vision become a reality for individuals that I work with."
