Berkeley Rep Docent Lecture

A Berkeley Rep Docent will be at the Moraga Library to give us background on The Pianist of Willesden Lane, an exceptional one-woman show in which acclaimed pianist and storyteller, Mona Golabeck, tells the story of her mother, Lisa Jura.  The play is set in Vienna in 1938 and London during the Blitzkrieg, as Jura, a young pianist, dreams of her concert debut.  The Pianist of Willesden Lane is Ms. Golabek's true family story, chronicling hope, survival and the power of music through our darkest times.
