When Gremlins Attack
You know the critters. Evil little buggers. They infest our machines and operating systems and make things go ka-blooey when they're not busy tormenting Bugs Bunny.
Lamorinda was, as one reader points out: "Like a ghost town" this past Fourth of July weekend as residents headed for the high and lonesome and vacation houses all over the state.
Patch saw a sharp decline in comments to stories posted on the site over the weekend, but as it turned out it wasn't because our readership had left town.
Seems we have a gremlin aboard, a big-eared, buck-toothed blackguard who chews through our cables and throws the "off" switch when we need things on and vice versa. This bugger is playing havoc with the REPLY button in our comment stream. People wishing to reply to a previous poster are penning their arguments and hitting SUBMIT only to see their perfectly chosen words disappear into the ether.
