Fatal Friday Morning Crash on 24 Caused by Wrong-Way Driver. A Brentwood woman driving the wrong way on westbound state Highway  24 in Lafayette early Friday morning collided head-on with another vehicle,  killing the other driver, according to the California Highway Patrol. Story is here.

Accused Child Molester Worked at Lafayette Church. A man charged with molesting multiple children was employed at  childcare centers and churches throughout Contra Costa County over the past  two years and as recently as last week. Read more here.

Lafayette Police Chief Warns Residents to Look for Missing Jewelry. The Lafayette police chief believes that a house cleaner arrested on suspicion of grand theft last week may have stolen items from many homes in the area from as far back as November 2012. Story is here.
