●         Dial up the and book a masseuse at their poolside . You'll emerge rejuvenated, svelte and leonine, your pores singing the "Ode to Joy." Take a swim in the hotel pool. Now it's time for some new togs.

●         Drive to Nordstrom, present your freshly-kneaded self to the haberdashers there and order up a new jacket or skirt for dinner. Maybe some cuff links or a clutch.

●         Sacrilege to stay too long in Nut Creek but you have to go to Va de Vi for a wine flight or a single malt. Just one. Do not give in to temptation and order dinner, not this time.

●         Now's the time for dinner. Back to Lafayette. If you're with someone special who share's your taste for good food, go to and speak with Elizabeth Marquez. If there's room she'll hook you up. For something less formal but still fun and cool, try or maybe even the lobster at . After all that take a walk, breathe in the uncluttered Lamorinda air and drift home and to bed. Sleep well!
