Lafayette, Walnut Creek and County to Study Link Between Iron Horse and Lafayette-Moraga Trails

The proposed route is along the Olympic Boulevard corridor.

Lafayette is teaming up with Walnut Creek and Contra Costa County to study the possibility of linking the Lafayette-Moraga Trail with the Iron Horse Trail along the Olympic Boulevard corridor.

The study will cost $200,000 and will be paid for by the county with money earmarked for transportation.

If the trails were to be linked, bicyclists and pedestrians would have a safe connection between Lamorinda, the San Ramon Valley and Central Costa County.
