What Matters to Us
Lamorinda family therapist will address issues including depression, working mothers, sexual harassment taking place at school by peers, academic pressures, perfectionism and other topics.
I am excited to be contributing to Lamorinda Patch by authoring this new blog about What Matters to Us. I am fortunate to see so many kinds of people in my practice in Moraga and share in their life journeys. Because I treat adults, teens and children I am reminded daily of the struggles of each stage of life as well as the experiences and relationships that give those stages meaning. I am especially interested in the well-being of our kids and am concerned about the changing times and affects on their self-esteem, behavior and mental health. I'll be writing on issues related to depression, working mothers, sexual harassment taking place at school by peers, academic pressures, perfectionism and other topics as this blog develops. I am happy to take suggestions but do not plan on doing Internet therapy on this site as I believe it is important to assess each situation in a professional environment.
