fatal crash on pleasant hill road in lafayette today...and where is patch?

i don't know why patch didn't report on this major story in lafayette...

i don't undertand, there was a fatal crash which knocked out power to part of lafayette this afternoon, pleasant hill road was closed and was still closed southbound as of 11pm sunday, and where is patch? heck, i had to go to contracostatimes.com to figure out exactly what happened....this is our local news? pretty disappointing.
