Scene Around Lamorinda: Black and Bleu at Patxi's Opening In Lafayette

With assist from Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, co-owners christen the first Patxi's restaurant in the East Bay. Radio personality Don Bleu - and Patch lensman Tom Black - make the scene.

The owners of cut the ceremonial ribbon on their first East Bay location Wednesday with help from the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, city council member Brandt Andersson, and morning drive-time man Don Bleu from STAR-FX radio.

My last name was noted along with that of Mr. Bleu so you can blame the editor for the headline.

Lafayette's is the fifth store in the chain, co-founded in 2004 in Palo Alto by namesake Patxi Azpiroz, his wife Tara Fawcett and Bill Freeman, who serves as CEO.
