New Urgent Care Center Opens In Lafayette
The new Stat Med facility is open seven days a week and includes x-ray and lab services
Lamorinda's first urgent care center has opened in Lafayette.
The Stat Med facility is at 970 Dewing Ave., an office building with other medical services.
The urgent care center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. No referral or appointment is required.
The facility provides service for medical problems that need immediate attention but aren't serious enough to warrant a trip to the emergency room.
Stat Med officials said the center provides a full range of medical services, including lab tests and x-ray diagnostic imaging. Flu shots are also available there.
