Moraga Chamber's New Office Opens On Monday
The chamber will hold an open house on Monday morning for its headquarters in the Hacienda de las Flores
The Moraga Chamber of Commerce finally has a place it can call home.
On Monday, the chamber will open up shop at its new offices in the La Sala building at Hacienda de las Flores, 2100 Donald Drive.
There will be an open house at the new facility from 8 a.m. to noon on that first day.
The chamber hasn't had an office since it re-formed seven years ago, relying on a post office box.
The offices are owned by the city, which isn't charging the chamber rent for its use.
"We're really grateful to them," said Kathe Nelson, the chamber's executive director. "It's really quite exciting to have some office space. This is an absolutely fabulous location."
The chamber will share the facility with the Moraga Movers.
Nelson said she'll have office hours from 8 a.m. to noon on Mondays and then by appointment the rest of the week.
