Lafayette Says: "More Pizza!" Patxi’s Opens This Week
Lamorinda's Pizza Wars get even hotter this week with the opening of Patxi's (pronounced "Pah-Cheese") in Lafayette.
Pizza is a staple around these parts. And competition is stiff. The latest entrant in the deep-dish war being waged in Lamorinda is Patxi's - known for its Chicago-style deep dish.
After a time-consuming review of their plans for signage and a request to allow their customers to sit and gnosh away on a front patio facing Mount Diablo Boulevard (granted), the company will be opening its doors in the Clocktower building at 3577 Mt Diablo Blvd. this week.
