Guest List Grows for Patch "Main Street Meet-Up"; Social Media Expert Robin Fox To Speak

Lamorinda Patch's inaugural is on for Tuesday, May 15 at the Veterans Hall at 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette, and the list of guests is growing as the date nears.

The informal, very Patchy — and free — gathering is built to give business owners already using Lamorinda Patch and those who want to use Patch insight into how doing so will help increase their visibility. Social Media coach will give her insights into how local businesses can use social media to heighten their business profile, we’ll serve refreshments, give out door prizes and swag and set up learning stations dealing with Lamorinda Patch, business directories, blogging and other ways you can tell your story online.

Our meet-up takes place from 8:30 a.m. to roughly 10:30 a.m. so as not to take up too much of your valuable business day.

We’ll be helping participating business owners claim their Patch Places business page on our site, a free service that you can use to better promote your business.
