Sprouts Cooking Club: Whole Foods Kids Cooking Classes!

Come learn how to make homemade banana ice cream and celebrate Whole Food's Lafayette!

Sprouts Cooking Club is a non-profit organization located in the East Bay that strives to teach kids of all socioeconomic backgrounds how to cook, hands-on with real ingredients and real chefs.

Sprouts is launching a series of kids cooking classes at Whole Foods in Lafayette, Oakland, Berkeley and Portero Hill this fall. The classes are hands-on cooking classes aimed at 7-12 year olds, taught by UC Berkeley student counselors. We teach the kids fun, easy, and healthy techniques and foods in a hands-on cooking class. We are also looking for Junior Counselors, ages 12-16, to help out withthe classes!

We are hosting our first class at the Lafayette Whole Foods on October 1st! We are highlighting pastry chef Justin nilson from Cafe Des Amis to teach a surprise recipe, as well as homemade banana ice cream!

For more information on the class, as well as dates and locations for other class, please visit our website: http://sproutscookingclub.org/upcoming-events/ . You can register for the classes through the link online.

If you have any questions, please contact erika@sproutscookingclub.org

Stay tuned for more classes to come! We look forward to cooking with your child soon!
