Almost Showtime for Shish Kabob Show; Dollar Tree Breaks Its Silence
Two new businesses are coming to the Rheem Valley Center — one occupying the old Blockbuster Video location, the other going in where Fudge Alley used to be.

issued a brief statement Thursday saying that "after a long period of silence," the Dollar Tree Corp. has pulled building permits with the county and that improvements are under way at its intended home — the old Blockbuster Video space at the center.
Also close to opening, Keimach reported, is the - a "highly anticipated Mediterranean restaurant under construction in the old Fudge Alley location."

Keimach said the restaurant, owned and managed by the Erez family of Moraga, received its final inspections and approvals this week.
"The last of the permits for PG&E was granted today (Thursday)," Keimach said, "which paves the way for an opening within the next two weeks."
